Welcome to the National City firefighter’s web site. Local 2744 has a long standing tradition in the fire service community for over 100 years. We are one of the most progressive departments in San Diego. We welcome all to visit and experience the National City fire department.

                As a union of only 40 people we are involved in many activities positively affecting the citizens of National City and the surrounding areas. We are members of the San Diego County Council of Firefighters, the San Diego/Imperial County Labor Council, the California Professional Firefighters, the International Association of Firefighters, and other organizations. We invite you to visit our web site and enjoy.

                We have made a career of helping people and our goal is always: to assist the citizens of National City and the surrounding areas while being the most highly trained and professional firefighters that we can be.
